Sales Executive  


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join Forth Steel, based in Edinburgh, part of the Murray Energy Group an expanding company which is a market leading stockholder, processor and distributor of high-quality steel products to the Oil and Gas, Renewable and Nuclear energy markets and related infrastructure.   As part of our next stage of growth we are looking for a driven, self-starting Sales Executive to develop and grow new business and existing accounts.  The role can be based, Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Dundee.

The Role of the Sales Executive Duties:
•   New business development
•   Building strong commercial and long-term relationships with prospects and clients
•   Understanding client requirements at both a strategic and tactical level to be able to offer the best business solutions
•   Achieve on personal KPIs and sales targets
•   Build internal relationships as required to maximise sales capability

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
•   A proven track record of achieving sales targets within an engineering services sales environment
•   Broad commercial and industry awareness
•   Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network within the client base
•   Excellent communication skills – internal and external
•   The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

And will:
•   Have engineering or steel processing commercial experience
•   Be highly energetic, fast paced, enthusiastic and ambitious with a desire to succeed
•   Be highly numerate and commercially astute
•   Have a professional attitude, conduct and appearance

Experience of selling multi-product steel or engineering solutions to the energy sector in the past would be advantageous.

This role would suit a successful and commercially focused, new business sales person who wants to be fundamental to the growth of a vibrant company which is at the forefront of providing steel supply solutions for the UK energy sector.
