Murray Energy initially tendered for mid range thickness, off shore grade steel plate package to be supplied to a major Asian Fabrication yard. The project scope developed rapidly, resulting in supply of plate, plasma cut profiles and supply of Euronorm standard sections and hollow section products.  With the volumes involved, there were there were three seperate call offs and shipments from Europe that were fully project managed and delivered on time in full to our client.


Murray Energy Asia project team, met with client in country and discussed detailed requirements pre tender.  A comprehensive tender was subsequently submitted resulting in contract award.  Pre-production meeting took place to ensure delivery requirements were understood and met.

Our offer was based around a competitive tender for steel products with European origin and were third party certified.  The composite offer of the total supply included cut to length long products as well as plasma cut profiles to be delivered in pre ordered packages for fabrication.

The materials were picked, processed and collated at Murray Energy's Sheffield and Edinburgh sites and from German supply partners before being collated in Antwerp for shipment. Following rigours QA checks and raising of detailed paperwork, the full project supply was shipped ahead of schedule.


The delivery of the goods ahead of schedule and in full, facilitated cost savings for our client on reciept of materials where there was an efficient utilisation of labour and facilities, resulting in prefered supplier status.
